Feature Support:
Loop Broadcast Messaging (LBM) features include:
- Full PMS Sync (currently supported)
Loop maintains a link to the PMS system and a record of all hotel guests and information about each. Staff are able to message any active, checked-in guest who has contact information (based on their PMS Guest Record; email or mobile phone number) or who self-registered (has engaged already in a loop conversation and is currently checked-in). - Groups (planned)
A Group is a collection of guests assembled by staff users. Create Groups from active and future guests, manage the Group and quickly send a message to all guests in that group. Groups can be used to target specific individuals (e.g. by status, by group affiliation, by floor) or to broadcast widely (all guests currently checked-in). - Smart Groups (planned)
Smart Groups are defined by criteria; Guests matching a Smart Group’s select criteria are included in that group automatically. - Guest List (planned)
Separate from the ‘Inbox’, a staff user view of all guests and active Groups. Guests with active conversations and larger Groups are prioritized for staff. - Message Templates (planned)
Templated message content for convenience that includes Smart Field support. Staff have three workflow options when sending broadcast messages:- Load a template and send immediately (for scripted events or critical situations),
- Load a template and customize before sending (for offers, news or updates), or
- Create a new message from scratch and send (for impromptu situations).
- Smart-Field Support (planned)
Messages may include smart fields (e.g. {{name}} or {{room}}) to personalize the content per Guest. LBM features an interactive message editor with auto-complete, tips and a preview pane to assist staff while creating or editing broadcast messages. - Conversation Starter (currently supported)
Unlike existing conversations which must be initiated by the guest, LBM allows the hotel to initiate a conversation with one or more guests. - Full Guest History (currently supported)
All LBM messages sent to the guest appear in that guest’s conversation Timeline to assist other staff members and provide an audit history of the conversation. - Broadcasts Report (planned)
